• Event Participation: Information about events and sessions you create, attend, or RSVP to within the app.
• Chat and Networking Data: Messages and interactions with other attendees (retained for moderation and safety).
• Usage Data: Logins, preferences, and feature interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version, used for optimization and security.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Service, including authentication and event management.
• To facilitate networking and communication among event participants.
• To moderate and maintain a safe environment by detecting and responding to reports of objectionable content.
• To send you account-related and event-related communications, including, where you have opted in, SMS messages.
• To improve the Service and develop new features.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. How We Share Your Data

We will never sell or rent your personal data.

Your profile and chat messages are shared only with other attendees of the same event to enable networking and collaboration. You may adjust what you share in your profile settings.

If any content you post is flagged as objectionable, our moderators may review and remove it in accordance with our Terms of Use.

We may share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as cloud hosting, database, and SMS delivery providers), strictly under contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we direct. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Eventable, our users, or others.

4. SMS / Text Message Communications

If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from Eventable, we will use it to send transactional messages, including one-time login codes, and, if you opt in separately, event-related notifications such as session reminders, RSVP confirmations, and updates to events you create or join.

Message frequency varies based on your activity within the Service. Standard message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier agreement.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by removing your phone number from your account settings. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@eventable.online.

Eventable does not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number, mobile opt-in information, SMS consent data, or any related personal information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purposes. Phone numbers are used solely by Eventable to deliver the messages you have consented to receive, and processed by our SMS delivery provider (AWS End User Messaging) acting on our behalf under strict contractual confidentiality and data-handling obligations.

If you opt out of SMS, you will continue to be able to use the Service, including by signing in with email and password instead of SMS login codes.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if you become aware of a security issue, please contact us immediately.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@eventable.online.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@eventable.online.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice within the Service.
